Smoky Mountain Winterfest – November 6th – February 18th
This will be the 29th year that Sevier County comes together to put on the Smoky Mountain Winterfest! For years, families have continued to make their way to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to take in the millions of lights and fun character displays that line the main streets. Business join in and make the celebration even more magical. Captivating audiences with incredible holiday shows and more, you and your family and friends should absolutely put the Smoky Mountain Winterfest on your winter calender. It is, by far, one of the most popular (if not the most popular) Pigeon Forge Christmas Events.
Smoky Mountain Christmas – November 10th – January 5th
My family has a tradition of going to Dollywood multiple times during the Christmas Season. Hundreds of other families share that tradition as well and always plan to be in Pigeon Forge for the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dolly Parton’s Dollywood. This festival has won many awards over the years and has been named the best in America for more than a decade. This season, it is getting even larger and better. Dollywood expanded their Christmas Festival this year and are promising even more lights, wonderful shows, holiday treats and pure family entertainment. New this season is Glacier Ridge which will consist of more than a million lights, a 50 foot Christmas tree and a recreation area of the northern lights! The whole family will marvel as they walk into the Plaza at Glacier Ridge that is transformed into a symphony of lights. This is also where the new light show will take place. Over in the Craftsman’s Valley area, visitors will be able to walk through a canopy of lights where the walk will bring the famed northern lights straight to you, right here in the Smoky Mountains! Toasty winter treats and warm cups of hot chocolate will be awaiting you around the corner as you enjoy this all new season of Christmas at Dollywood. You can also warm up by watching one of the many wonderful award winning shows they put on during the Christmas season. Some of the favorites are ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, O Holy Night, It’s a Wonderful Life and Christmas in the Smokies. Even better news for these wonderful season of shows is that this year, visitors do not have to stand in line in hopes of getting into these busy shows. As soon as you enter the theme park, you can make your way to the entertainment venues and pick up your free show voucher that will guarantee you a seat at whichever time slot you choose-all you then have to do is show back up at your selected time. This is a huge time saver for everyone!
Christmas at the Titanic – November 10th – December 31st
The Titanic lights up at nighttime with their holiday lights displays, Christmas trees that tower over you and other festive decor. Aboard the ship, you can travel back in time and enjoy holiday decorations that would have been up during the time of the Titanic in the Edwardian period. Children will be delighted with the real reindeer that greet you at the entrance and you can even get your photo taken with Father Christmas. Kick your holiday season off by visiting the Titanic in Pigeon Forge and don’t forget – as a guest of ours, you can purchase discount tickets through us at any of our front offices.
